The NC Metro Mayors Coalition is proud to partner with Carolina Demography on the NC Metro Data Initiative. This effort brings demographic, socioeconomic and health data from all our member cities together into one easily browsable package.  

The data includes indicators for all 34 member cities in the following categories: 

• Population (showing growth going back to 1990)
• Socioeconomic indicators (wage and workforce statistics, median incomes, and poverty indicators) 
• Housing indicators (rented vs. owned, broadband and vehicle access, and home values) 
• Health indicators (death rates, insurance, and disability rates) 
• Crime statistics by city

Our interactive dashboard allows you to explore your city’s data, see how your city compares to other member cities, and, when possible, see differences across your city. (Instructions are included for new users; just click on the “?” in the upper right corner of the dashboard.)
